From the 15th of December 2021 to the 14th January 2022 Dreadlabs is running a Transmedia campaign at the Fontys ACI campus in Tilburg, Netherlands. The Campaign is created by a team of five students and aim towards making Dreadlabs more known with a Dutch target audience.

At the center of the campaign is the Dreadlabs storyworld. The Dreadlabs storyworld was originally created by Tom van den Endert and his followers in a worldbuilding session on Youtube. The goal of creating a storyworld for Dreadlabs was to give more life and atmosphere to the already established visual identity as well as providing fans with fresh new content in a different way.

The Team of students behind the campaign developed characters and a storyline taking place in the storyworld and adapted it into comic book form. A secondary newspaper was then released providing insides and information about ongoing conflicts in the storyworld. The campaigns main outputs are a comic book, an interactive map, a newspaper and various competitions and a live event. The outputs are all available at Fonty’s ACI campus in Tilburg. After the campaign ends on January 14th all content will be released online for the rest of the follower base. We hope you enjoy the campaign.

Due to the recent COVID-19 restrictions in the Netherlands, the live event is not available to continue. The campaign however will be pushed forward online.
